If it is placed upside down or horizontally, there is less support at the bottom of the liquid nitrogen container, and the barrel shape is convenient for rolling.

Once the container rolls, it is uncontrollable. If it accidentally touches a hard object, it will cause the tank body to sag, resulting in a difference in internal and external pressure, and the vacuum degree will be greatly reduced, or even scrapped.

In order to maintain the balance of the liquid nitrogen container, the manufacturer provides a "base" to support the tank to keep it balanced.

Therefore, even if the cryogenic liquid nitrogen container is empty, it is recommended that it be "upright"!
